Booking and payment
A reservation is final only after successful payment via Mollie, or after a manual or cash booking confirmed by Buitengast. Guests accept these terms when completing the booking. The version accepted at the time of reservation applies. Every booking includes an administration fee of €25.00.
Cancellation
Until 30 April you may cancel and only the €25.00 administration/booking fee remains due. From 1 May to 30 June only the dinner package and bike rental are refunded. From 1 July there is no refund.
No-show
If you do not arrive and have not cancelled in time, there is no refund.
Changes
Changes are possible only by arrangement and only if capacity, dinner limits and season rules allow. A change does not create a refund right beyond the cancellation policy.
Force majeure and cancellation of the Four Days Marches
In case of force majeure, including cancellation, shortening or material change of the Nijmegen Four Days Marches, Buitengast may amend or end the booking. Any refund is then assessed separately and is not an automatic right.
External services
Massage and blister care are provided by external parties and are not included in the camping rate. Massage is paid in cash to the therapist. The blister team sets its own fee. Buitengast is not liable for the performance or prices of these external services. Times may change by service email.
Manual and cash bookings
Bookings made outside the online flow are subject to the same terms unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at Buitengast. Assistance dogs follow a separate, legally correct exception process; please contact us in advance. An assistance dog is not covered by an absolute pet ban.
Electric cars
There are no EV charging facilities at Buitengast. Connecting an electric car to a pitch supply is not allowed.
Quiet hours, safety and house rules
Buitengast is set up for walkers, not party groups. Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 06:00. Open fires are not allowed. Gas barbecues are allowed if used safely and without nuisance. Visitors must report to reception. Keep at least 4 metres of clear access for emergency services.
Electricity
Guests bring at least 25 metres of extension cable. Regular 220V plugs are used, not blue camping connectors. Appliances over 650 watts are not allowed. Two small tents can share one hook-up on site; we arrange that locally. In the booking, electricity is always charged as a full connection.
Bikes
A deposit of €50.00 per bike is paid when collecting at reception, not in the online camping payment. Bikes must always be placed in a supervised bike park. All damage and theft are at the renter’s expense. If a bike is missing, the excess is €150.00 per bike when the original key is handed over, and €295.00 without the original key. Arrival and departure
Arrival Saturday, Sunday or Monday between 09:00 and 18:00, with check-in at reception. Departure Friday (no fixed time) or Saturday by 12:00.
